The role
:
To provide full administrative support to support the achievement of the school improvement plans and quality cycle and to provide occasional administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team.
Duties include:
1. To assist other administrators with receptionist/ telephonist duties, including meet and greet.
2. Take minutes at meetings upon request.
3. Together with the leadership team, research and develop a computerised database so that all students’ information (attendance, behaviour, communications, pupil progress, achievements, SEND and personal information) is centrally held, appropriately accessible and compliant with GDPR.
4. Ensure that meaningful pupil progress information is collected and data is available to the leadership team each half-term to inform their quality improvement cycle
5. Maintain the admissions register
6. First point of contact for local authorities, social workers and parents/carers
7. Building and maintaining relationships with all of the above signposting and advising parents as appropriate
8. Attending weekly Admissions Meetings, updating class list and admissions summary document
9. Arranging Parent Open Mornings
10. Assisting Admissions Team when needed
Competencies and experience required:
11. Experience of working in a very busy office environment with changing priorities.
12. Good all round computer skills
13. Accuracy and ability to work in a confidential manner
14. Due to rural workplace location, it is essential to be a driver and have your own transport (no access to public transport nearby)
