With a strong focus on safety, quality, and sustainability, the role offers the chance to make a real impact within a collaborative and forward-thinking team.You will be responsible for Health and Safety legal compliance at the West Dumbartonshire manufacturing site, while driving continual improvement and supporting local and corporate EHS initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Hiring Manager in delivering EHS strategy and complianceEnsure compliance with EHS legislation, company policies and ISO standards (45001, 9001, 14001)Conduct risk assessments, audits and incident investigationsDevelop and deliver EHS action plans and continual improvement programmesLead environmental initiatives including Zero Waste to Landfill and Net ZeroManage Industrial Hygiene monitoring programmesImplement and maintain safety systems (SSOW, Permit to Work, Contractor Control)Support EHS training, communication and behavioural safety initiativesMaintain audit compliance with zero major non-conformancesProvide EHS technical support and maintain budget controlSkills & ExperienceNEBOSH General Certificate (essential)Manufacturing experience (essential)Strong communication, IT and team-working skillsProactive, solutions-focused approachAbility to coach and influence othersPlease contact Diane Smedley at dsmedley@hrcrecruitment.co.uk or call me on 07707 726905 to be considered for this role
