Science Teacher – Full-Time, Long-Term Opportunity

Salary: £33,000 – £45,000 (Dependent on Experience)

They are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis ASAP. This role is open to both experienced educators and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are enthusiastic about making science engaging and accessible for all learners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach stimulating and interactive Science lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4
* Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics is highly desirable
* Create an inclusive classroom that encourages inquiry and scientific thinking
* Assess student work, provide feedback, and track academic progress
* Contribute to curriculum planning and resource sharing within the department
* Support students in their GCSE preparation, including coursework and revision
* Promote involvement in STEM clubs, science fairs, and enrichment activities
* Engage with the wider school community and participate in school events
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification (strong unqualified candidates will be considered)
* Has experience teaching Science at secondary level
* Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education
* Uses a creative, student-focused teaching approach
* Maintains high expectations and effective classroom management
* Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
