The role: To perform reception duties including welcoming visitors, issuing and retrieving access fobs, and maintaining visitor logs. The role also includes training administration and providing general administrative and secretarial support for the facility. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive business and administrative support across all departments on-site. Greet visitors and contractors, issue access passes, and ensure compliance with sign-in/out procedures and site rules. Maintain and update site procedures and risk assessments. Upload and manage finalised documentation in the site's digital system. Administer training records and assist with training bookings. Offer general admin support such as typing, photocopying, and document handling. Perform data entry and basic data analysis using Excel or similar tools. Cover for the Business Support Coordinator during absences, including raising purchase orders and other administrative tasks. Skills and Experience Essential: Experience in reception and switchboard operations. Background in administrative support. Proficiency in MS Office applications. Excellent customer service and communication skills. IT literate with accurate data input capabilities. Demonstrates confidentiality, punctuality, and reliability. Desirable: Familiarity with the waste or energy sector. Experience in document control and ISO systems. Data entry experience. Holds a full UK driving licence. Additional Information Must uphold health and safety responsibilities, including the correct use of PPE. Adherence to all company policies and procedures is required.
