Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers, ensuring accuracy and quality.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and equipment.
* Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines at all times.
* Engage with customers, providing friendly and knowledgeable service while taking orders.
* Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain efficient service.
* Assist in restocking supplies as needed, ensuring the bar is well-equipped for service.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Strong hospitality skills with a genuine desire to enhance the customer experience.
* Basic knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
