We are currently delivering the redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site located in Plymouth and are seeking an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator. Joining the design / engineering team, you will be responsible for co-ordinating all aspects of Temporary Works on one of the major projects ongoing in the dockyard.Due to the sensitive nature of the site, BPSS security clearance is required. Please note that this process can take up to 8 weeks. Candidates must hold a passport from an EU, NATO, Five Eyes, or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years.Making PossibleAs a Temporary Works Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following:Reporting to the Lead TWC / Temporary Works ManagerCo-ordination of Temporary Works between our site teams and designersReview of TW design briefs prepared by our site teams to ensure they are suitable for issue to the projects Temporary Works Design teams and management of that submission processManagement of Temporary Works through the full design preparation and design checking processes in accordance with applicable procedures and client requirementsManage Temporary Works design submissions through their full life-cycle to client approval, implementation, use and dismantlingLiaise with different in-house, supply chain and external design consultants simultaneouslyEnsure the implementation of these Temporary Works on site is in accordance with the approved and checked design detailsSite inspections and issuing of TW PermitsDemonstrate a personal commitment to the projects Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and management system requirements and expectationsDevelop and maintain an awareness of SHE hazards and associated risks and demonstrate a commitment to eliminate or minimise those risksUnderstand and effectively undertake SHE accountabilitiesManage and coordinate Temporary Works SupervisorsComply with commercial processesEnsure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant Joint Venture policies and processesProvide practical support and mentoring to less experienced members of the temporary works team.What do you bring to the role?Degree qualification in civil engineering equivalent is desirable
