 
        
        Leader Education is currently recruiting a Behaviour Support Assistant to join a dedicated and supportive team at a school in North Tyneside. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people who need guidance, structure, and encouragement to thrive in their learning environment.
The Role
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to support students who may display challenging behaviour. Your role will be key in helping students regulate their emotions, engage positively with their education, and develop essential life skills.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking someone who is:
 * Calm, patient, and resilient in challenging situations
 * Passionate about supporting young people with behavioural and emotional needs
 * Able to build positive relationships with students and staff
 * Proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team
Experience working in education or with young people with behavioural needs is desirable but not essential — the right attitude and commitment are what matter most.
