Receptionist (Accountancy Firm – Didsbury) Up to £28,000 (DOE) Full-time, Office-based. Join a dynamic and growing accountancy firm in the heart of Didsbury! Our client are an established firm of accountants and business advisers, supporting a diverse range of clients across the UK. They are looking for an organised, proactive and confident Receptionist / Executive Assistant to be the friendly face of our office and a key support to our directors and team. Key Responsibilities Greet and welcome clients and visitors Answer phones, manage internal call transfers and general enquiries Complete client confirmation statements and other filings with Companies House Manage directors/PSCs identification and share changes Send client record reminders and maintain accurate filing systems Handle incoming post and manage the client records room Prepare engagement letters and set up new clients Manage Direct Debits, Standing Orders and client communications Support senior staff and assist directors with ad hoc tasks Renew Croner Taxwise insurance and assist with chasing overdue debts Manage new client leads and the main Sterling Partners inbox About You At least 2 years’ experience as a receptionist or admin assistant Excellent customer service and front-of-house skills Process-driven with an interest in improving systems and using technology/AI tools Confident communicator with resilience and professionalism Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) and excellent organisation Familiar with Companies House and HMRC Previous accountancy practice experience What We Offer Up to £28,000 salary, depending on experience 21 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays) Christmas shutdown and quarterly team-building events Weekly treat to Caffè Nero and monthly team lunches Fun, friendly and diverse team of 15 professionals Vibrant Didsbury location near parks, shops and cafés Staff room with games and a supportive office culture Weekly team meetings and monthly admin sessions with managers Study support for those pursuing business administration qualifications Apply Today If you’re an organised, client-focused professional who thrives in a busy office and enjoys working as part of a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you!
