We are recruiting a bookkeeper to join our busy office in Keighley.
The candidate will be responsible for processing transactions for a portfolio of bookkeeping clients whilst working to deadlines.
Brief Job Description
* VAT Return preparation
* Filing VAT Returns
* Bank, Sales, Debtor/Creditor, and Purchase ledger reconciliation
* The role may involve some general office administration
* Be able to prepare basic monthly/quarterly management accounts (with supervisor support and review)
Requirements for the role
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper with at least 5 years’ experience in practice
* Experience supporting a team, including 3 year’s reviewing work.
* Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks, Sage and Dext
* Understanding of MTD
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong organisation and time management skills
