Overview
We're looking for a skilled Crown & Bridge Technician to join a busy dental laboratory focused on high-quality fixed prosthetics. You'll be producing consistent, accurate restorations across digital and conventional workflows, working closely with the team to deliver excellent fit, function, and aesthetics to deadline.
Key Responsibilities
Produce crowns, bridges, and related fixed restorations to a high standard
Work across digital workflows including CAD design review and CAM outputs where required
Finish, contour, stain, glaze, and characterise restorations to meet aesthetic requirements
Manage cases from receipt through to completion, ensuring accuracy of margins, contacts, occlusion, and shade
Communicate with colleagues and clinicians where needed to clarify prescriptions, shades, and case requirements
Maintain quality control, logging remakes and contributing to continuous improvement
Support lab housekeeping, equipment care, and basic maintenance of workstations and tools
What You'll Work With
Zirconia, e.max, PFM, full contour and layered work depending on experience
Model work and articulators where relevant
CAD/CAM systems and scanners as used in the lab environment
Staining, glazing, polishing, and finishing tools and materials
Required Experience and Skills
Proven experience in a dental lab environment within Crown & Bridge
Strong understanding of occlusion, anatomy, contact points, and marginal integrity
High attention to detail and pride in producing consistent, repeatable quality
Comfortable working to deadlines without compromising standards
Good communication and teamwork, with a practical, solutions-focused mindset
Desirable
Experience with CAD software such as exocad or 3Shape
Experience with implant crowns or complex bridge cases
Ceramic build-up and layering skills
