CNC Turn/Mill Machinist - Halifax - £17.50p/h
Are you an experienced CNC machinist with a passion for precision engineering? We’re looking for a dedicated professional to join our workshop and contribute to our high-quality manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Programming, setting, and operating turn/mill machines
* Interpreting and working from customer drawings
* Producing finished components that meet strict quality standards
* Working with large components and small batches or single items
* Attending and completing relevant training courses as needed
* Maintaining excellent workshop housekeeping
Skills & Competencies:
* Strong background in CNC turning with live tooling
* Experience with Fanuc, Mazak, or Siemens controls
* Ability to work independently to engineering drawings
* Familiarity with various machine controls
* Capable of working in a high-precision environment with tight tolerances
* Knowledge of manual handling and safety procedures
* Reliable, honest, and a strong team player
* Committed to HSQE standards and continuous improvement
