Intelligence Development Officer (2 x vacancies)
Overview
The Yorkshire & Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCU) is a collaborative multi‑agency covert response to tackle serious and organised crime across the Yorkshire & Humber (YH) Region. These vacancies provide an opportunity to join the YH SARs IDT, part of a National ROCU programme working within the Home Office SARs Reform Programme.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the SARs IDT Financial Investigators to identify and proactively develop financial intelligence that supports ROCU specialist capabilities and operations.
* Collaborate within the National SARs IDT network to meet Home Office key performance indicators focused on disruption outcomes – both criminal and civil.
* Liaise with the four Force SARs teams, collaborating on projects, providing support and highlighting best practice.
* Support the YHROCU’s policing response across West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and Humberside, linking national expertise to local policing.
Qualifications & Vetting
Successful applicants will be subject to Management Vetting (MV) and enhanced Security Clearance (SC) vetting prior to taking up the post.
Location
YHROCU is located in the Wakefield area, close to good public transport links and the motorway network.
