Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for events and marketing. Responsibilities
* Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery
* Support in implementing promotional activities and special events
* Lead on marketing the venue
* Supervise and motivate team members, fostering a positive working environment
* Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations
* Serve as a point of contact for staff and customers, resolving issues promptly
* Assist in training new staff members, including barista and serving personnel
* Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
* Uphold hospitality standards by ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the premises
Skills
* Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
* Strong team management abilities with excellent leadership qualities
* Extensive restaurant experience, including food preparation, cooking, and serving roles
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production
* Experience in kitchen operations or hotel environments is highly desirable
* Ability to lead by example and motivate staff to achieve high standards of service
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
* Good communication skills to liaise with team members and customers confidently
* Demonstrated ability to manage stressful situations calmly and professionally
* Experience in events and marketing desirable
