As a Senior Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the GT Enterprise Architecture team of CTO, you play a crucial role in developing high-quality architecture solutions for a range of software applications and platform products. Your expertise across multiple architecture domains enables you to promote significant business impact and contribute to shaping the target state architecture.
Job responsibilities
1. Guides evaluation of current technology and leads evaluation of new technologies using existing standards and frameworks
2. Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
3. Drives decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
4. Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
5. Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
6. Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies
7. Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
8. Identifies opportunities to integrate technology preferences into existing engineering tools and pipelines to ease the adoption of strategic products
9. Authors patterns and blueprints to guide the implementation of technical preferences
10. Partner with application owners, infrastructure teams, risk, and compliance groups to understand requirements, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus on architecture and technology choices.
11. Influence and coordinate with senior stakeholders and technology communities across the firm to encourage the implementation and use of the technology preferences framework.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
12. Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and applied experience
13. Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
14. Advanced in one or more programming language(s), applications, and architecture
15. Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile,
16. Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
17. Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture
