The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality teaching that supports pupils at a crucial stage of their learning journey.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning, delivering, and assessing creative and engaging lessons for Year 1 pupils.
* Monitoring pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback.
* Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
* Differentiating lessons to meet the varied needs of all learners.
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and best practice.
* Contributing to wider school initiatives and engaging in ongoing professional development.
The Ideal Candidate
You will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 1 experience desirable).
* Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Be confident planning effective lessons for mixed-ability classes.
* Have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
* Be comfortable using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
* Possess excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
