Job Description
On behalf of our client, theNorthern Ireland Housing Executive(NIHE), MPAwelcomes suitable candidates for the role of,Mechanical Inspectorin Twickenham House
This role involves carrying out inspections on Natural Gas and Oil heating installations across planned and response maintenance contracts to ensure all works are completed in line with contractual requirements, statutory regulations, and quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
* Inspect mechanical works at various stages of installation and maintenance
* Ensure compliance with specifications, statutory regulations, materials and workmanship standards
* Identify and report any non compliance or Health and Safety concerns
* Maintain accurate site records and inspection reports
* Provide weekly electronic reports to Project Manager
* Monitor variations from planned works and highlight potential risks
* Support handover processes on completion of works
* Use mobile and desktop IT systems to update inspection records
Essential Criteria
Applicants must have either:
* A Degree in a Construction or Technical related discipline with 2 years relevant experience
OR
* A BTEC Higher Certificate or Diploma in a Construction or Technical discipline with 3 years relevant experience
OR
* 4 years relevant experience in Construction Maintenance
Plus:
* Gas Safe Certification: CCN1, CENWAT
* OFTEC: 101, 105 & 600
* IT literacy including MS Office
* Access to transport to fulfil duties of the role
