Overview
The Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Science at the University of South Wales is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management within the Built Environment & Sustainability subject area. The successful candidate will coordinate and deliver modules to undergraduate students from Foundation year to Master’s level in Commercial Management & Enterprise, Construction Cost Management, and Contract Management Practice. We are seeking applications from highly motivated candidates with an interest in teaching and learning and who have a passion for developing the next generation of construction professionals. This is a full-time, permanent position. The role is based at Pontypridd and will contribute to teaching and assessment, module and/or course leadership duties, engagement in quality review and enhancement processes, and ensuring that professional body requirements are met.

Responsibilities

* Ensure that professional body requirements are met and contribute to the planning, design and development of programmes and short courses.
Qualifications and Experience
* Interest in teaching and learning with a passion for developing construction professionals.
* Applications are welcomed from current industry practitioners, who hold or are working towards appropriate professional qualifications, as well as those with an academic background.
* Willingness to engage with quality assurance processes and professional body requirements.
