We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a prominent supplier within the energy solutions sector, who are seeking an experienced Account Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and professional individual to become part of a dynamic and expanding team.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Customer Support
* Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of small- to mid-size accounts in the leisure battery and energy storage sectors.
* Respond to customer inquiries regarding product specifications, pricing, lead times, and order status, including raising orders where necessary.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication.
* Maintain ongoing contact with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and highlight where we are performing well.
* Respond promptly and professionally to inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and ZenDesk (where required).
Inbound & Outbound Sales Support
* Work with the Senior Account Manager on proposals, quotes, contract preparation, and follow-up communication.
* Support new customer onboarding, ensuring all documentation is complete and customers receive all required information.
* Conduct outbound calls to lapsed or inactive customers to explore re-engagement opportunities.
* Support the sales and account management teams with administrative and ad-hoc tasks.
* Actively participate in internal team meetings, including collaboration with trade and marketing teams.
Market & Product Knowledge
* Develop a foundational understanding of lithium battery technology and its applications (e.g., campervans, CCTV systems, emergency service vehicles, energy storage, etc.).
* Stay informed on pricing, product features, and technical differences across the range.
* Willingly learn about related installation components such as inverters, chargers, solar panels, and system integrations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* 3+ years’ experience in account management, sales support, or customer service.
* Basic technical knowledge and a willingness to learn lithium battery technology.
* Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* A problem-solving mindset, customer-first attitude, and the ability to think creatively.
