Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all administrative functions run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in office management, and the ability to foster a positive team atmosphere. You will be responsible for managing office staff, streamlining processes, and enhancing communication within the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficient workflow.
* Manage and supervise customer services, compliance, & purchasing staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
* Designing, Implementing, and Maintaining business processes, guidelines, and policies, and ensuring these procedures are followed by the relevant functions within the business.
* Implement and improve administrative processes to increase productivity.
* Take an active lead with diary/work schedule management.
* Attend and lead Management Meetings, taking a central role in implementing decisions and actions as necessary.
* Supporting business management implementation, including data processing.
* In conjunction with compliance function, assist & co-ordinate health and safety communications, and processes.
* To deliver accurate, effective, and efficient services to ensure customers are satisfied with the service provision.
* Fully committed to meeting the objectives of business strategies.
* Provide cover for other functions within the business, as arising on an ad hoc basis.
* Manage tasks relating to stock orders for office supplies.
* Supporting the business with networking/marketing events.
* Foster a professional office environment by upholding phone etiquette and customer service standards.
Experience
* Proven experience in an office management or administrative role is essential.
* Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
* Familiarity with systems and job management software is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for this position.
* Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing priorities is essential.
