Head of Marketing

£70,000 - £100,000
We are looking for a senior marketer with experience in promoting cultural destinations and working closely with a customer base to become Head of Marketing for a really exciting project in London.
This has some serious legs for someone to take ownership and run this from the very start!
The project is backed by a leading developer, for whom community is massively important and the focus is to ensure the location remains a cultural hub, is promoted worldwide and footfall is sustained and increased as redevelopment takes place.
You will be working with market traders, small business owners and the wider community.
They are looking for someone who is a true creative and can see the vision of where the project can be. it’s a chance to make an impact with the special cultural hub that it is and take that uniqueness and make it into something amazing!
The mission is simple, to drive footfall to make the traders experience better with more customers.
This is a new position in the business and you will have a chance to develop and deliver strategy across the project, building out a team as the market moves closer to launch.
They want to turn the this into a “destination location” for tourism and culture. The business has a multitude of projects in the pipeline, so there is lots to look forward to and growth is on offer!
You will bring your expertise of destination marketing and tourism to play, to set the strategy and lead the brand, events, pr and associated marketing activities.
You will utilise your marketing skills to push the name and brand, begin to reach out to the local market, speak to associated businesses, high profile sports clubs and liaise with the arts space to gain maximum exposure with partnerships.
Paying up to £100k (depending on experience) plus bonus, with flexible working on offer.
It is essential you have experience in the destination or tourism space. Applications without relevant experience will be discounted.
