Role Responsibilities:
As a Class Teacher:
* Teaching:Plan and teach well-structured lessons to assigned classes, following the school’s curriculum and schemes of work.
* Assessment:Assess, monitor, record, and report on the learning needs, progress, and achievements of assigned pupils, making accurate and productive use of assessment.
* Adaptation:Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of pupils, setting high expectations that inspire and challenge them.
* Collaboration:Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement the school’s policies, practises, and procedures, supporting our vision and values.
As a Year Group Leader (for the right candidate):
* Leadership:Lead and manage the year group team, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across all classes.
* Curriculum Development:Oversee the development and implementation of the curriculum for the year group, ensuring it is inclusive and ambitious.
* Monitoring and Evaluation:Monitor pupil progress and attainment within the year group, using data to inform teaching practises and interventions.
* Support and Mentorship:Provide support and mentorship to fellow teachers within the year group, fostering a culture of professional development and collaboration.
* Communication:Act as a liaison between the year group and senior leadership, ensuring effective communication and alignment with school goals.
