Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our growing team at Desi Building Materials Supplies Ltd. This role involves fabricating, repairing, and assembling metal structures and components used across our building materials operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical ability, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform welding and fabrication tasks to required specifications using MIG/TIG/Arc techniques.
* Read, understand, and work from technical drawings and blueprints.
* Ensure all welds meet safety and quality standards.
* Conduct routine inspections of welded structures and carry out necessary repairs.
* Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
* Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently.
* Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices at all times.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Welder (minimum 2 years preferred).
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (essential requirement).
* Knowledge of various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick/Arc).
* Familiarity with metal fabrication processes and materials.
* Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Good physical stamina and ability to work in a workshop environment.
* Relevant welding certifications (advantageous but not essential).
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
