Maths Teacher
Location: Scarborough
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: February 2026
GSL Education are recruiting a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in the Scarborough area. This role is ideal for a teacher who can deliver structured, engaging lessons and support pupils in developing confidence with numeracy and problem-solving.

The school provides a supportive learning environment with clear routines and high expectations. The Maths department works collaboratively to ensure consistency and strong outcomes across KS3 and KS4.
Responsibilities
* Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4
* Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons
* Track progress and adapt teaching strategies
* Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations
* Promote mathematical reasoning and confidence
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
* Strong subject knowledge and classroom management
* Commitment to inclusive and high-quality teaching
