Role: Business Development Manager Location: Northampton with regular UK travel and sometimes International (Europe and USA) Salary: £45,000 - £50,000, with Bonus and Car allowance benefits Industry: Technical manufacturing / refrigeration / engineered products The Role We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead all proactive sales activity across the UK, Europe and the USA. You will build our sales pipeline from the ground up, win new high-value customers and grow strategic accounts. This is a standalone role where you will create structure, process and scalable growth in a business ready for expansion. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver our multi-region sales strategy Win new business with OEMs, refrigeration cabinet manufacturers, distributors and retail groups Build a strong, predictable pipeline and achieve consistent revenue growth Manage and develop existing key accounts Implement CRM-based processes and reporting Monitor competitors, pricing, and market trends Provide insight to support new product development Work closely with the MD on commercial strategy and forecasting Experience Required 5 years in business development or technical sales Background in manufacturing, engineered products, refrigeration, HVAC, cold chain, shopfitting or similar (desirable) Proven success winning and managing high-value accounts Comfortable working autonomously and building from a low-base environment Skills & Qualities Strong commercial and negotiation skills Able to understand and communicate technical product benefits Excellent relationship builder Confident influencing at all levels Highly resilient, organised, and self-motivated Willingness to travel extensively, including overseas Why Join Us?
