Job Description
* Have experience working to the GDS design principals or equivalent standards in the UK Public sector.
* Build user-centred practices in new teams.
* Align user research activities with wider plans to inform a service proposition.
* Carry out user research and supervise and develop other user researchers to assure and improve research practice.
* Inclusive research: help teams understand the diversity of users and advocate for inclusive practices.
* Research skills: experience with a wide range of primary and secondary user research methods.
* Analysis and synthesis: help teams apply analysis methods and synthesize findings.
* Present research findings: communicate key findings and implications, summarising and tailoring for different audiences.
* Society and technology: understand the social and technological context of projects.
* Strategic insight: understand what problem the team is trying to solve and align research activities to inform decision making.
* Technical understanding: knowledge of technologies used to build and operate digital services.
* User-centred and agile practices: help inexperienced teams adopt user-centred practices and embed them into their agile workflow.
Qualifications
* 4+ years of User Research experience.
* Experience working to the GDS design principals or equivalent standards in the UK Public sector.
* Full right to work in the UK.
* Eligible for Security Clearance.
* Work in a Hybrid working model.
