We are looking for an Industry Process Consultant Intern (Low Frequency Electromagnetic Simulation with Finite Element – SIMULIA) to join our Low-Frequency Electromagnetics Simulation Team. Our team develops, tests and maintains leading Finite Element products, while helping our customers solve complex simulation challenges using our software. We work on cutting-edge applications combining electromagnetics, physics and engineering, for the design of electrical machines, superconducting and resistive magnets, electromagnetic material testing devices and charged particle X-ray tubes. The position is based in our Warwick office, offering a 6-month duration with a 40-hour workweek. The team meets weekly in Oxford (City Centre) and monthly at the 3DS Warwick office, requiring the intern’s availability for these in-person meetings. Role Description & Responsibilities Help solve complex simulation problems showcasing SIMULIA Electromagnetic tools in real-world applications, Develop innovative solutions for electromagnetic problems in electrical machines and other applications, Enhance and test multiphysics simulation workflows (electromagnetics, structural, NVH), Explore other electromagnetic applications like superconducting magnets and non-destructive testing, Stay updated on scientific advancements in the assigned field, Deliver high-quality solutions on time and document findings through clear reports. Strong presentation and summarization skills are a plus.
