Overview
JOB TITLE: Laboratory Products Sales Territory Manager – East coast-USA
POSITION REPORTS TO: VP Laboratory Sales, North America
POSITION SUMMARY: This role will be responsible for sales in the Eastern US.
Responsibilities
* Candidate must reside within the territory, Boston Metro area preferably.
* Manage and nurture the growth of new and existing Laboratory products clients.
* Delegate any overflow work to inside Laboratory products sales team.
* Send sample requests to inside sales Laboratory products sales team.
* Send quotes when needed.
* Meet and/or exceed sales goals (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
* Track and manage all opportunities through the Company CRM System (MS Dynamics).
* Provide constant positive communication, follow-up, and client satisfaction through site visits, phone, email, and social media.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related activities as requested.
* Able to work independently and in a team environment.
Qualifications
* Science background required; Laboratory products background.
* 3-5 years of successful sales experience with a strong record of performance.
* Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
* Experience using CRM for pipeline development and opportunity management.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Superior time management and ability to multi-task.
* Strong oral and written communication skills including strong presentation skills.
* Able to easily change tasks as instructed.
* Perform additional duties as directed.
* Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
* Ability and willingness to travel up to 55%.
Education and Experience Required
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
* Science background required; Laboratory products background.
* 3-5 years of successful sales experience with a strong record of performance.
* CRM usage.
