Key Responsibilities
Safety and Compliance
* Adhere to company and regulatory health and safety standards.
Machine Preventive Maintenance:
* Perform regular, routine checks on equipment and assets to prevent costly unplanned downtime.
* Perform appropriate servicing to required machinery.
* Perform minor repairs and fit replacement parts.
* Report any problems or improvements to line manager.
Buildings Repair and Maintenance:
* Perform restoration work when an asset breaks, gets damaged, or stops working.
* Carry out routine preventive repairs and maintenance.
Facilities and Grounds:
* Ensure that the buildings and grounds are maintained to a high level to ensure a smart, professional working environment for employees and visitors.
Continuous improvement:
* Participate in 6S initiatives (training will be given).
* Participate in other continuous improvement initiatives (training will be given).Emergency Repairs:
* Provide swiftresponse to emergency calls for equipment breakdowns and prioritisation of urgent repairs.
Documentation and Reporting:
* Maintain records of maintenance work, including parts used and hours worked.
Person Specification
Skills:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to understand a variety of engineering procedures and functions.
* Team-working skills to liaise and work cooperatively with individuals at all levels.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Willingness to flex into other areas.
* A full clean UK driving licence.
