The Role
As the Year 6 Teacher, you will play a vital role in preparing pupils for the transition to secondary education by delivering high-quality, engaging teaching and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering engaging, well-differentiated lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
* Assessing, tracking, and monitoring pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
* Creating a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and continually raise standards.
* Actively engaging in professional development and training opportunities.
About You
The successful candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Have experience teaching in Year 6 or across Key Stage 2.
* Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Adapt teaching approaches confidently to meet the needs of all learners.
* Possess a secure understanding of the National Curriculum and current pedagogical practices.
* Show excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
* Be confident in using technology to enhance learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
