Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and manufacturing, with hands-on experience in various tasks related to fabrication and assembly. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and proficiency with hand and power tools. The Manufacturing Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production standards while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various manufacturing tasks.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately.
* Perform glass installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, and trim carpentry as needed.
* Engage in heavy lifting and physical labor associated with fabrication and assembly processes.
* Conduct construction estimating for project planning and resource allocation.
* Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
* Execute caulking, metal stud framing, remodeling, and fixture installation duties as required.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in manufacturing or construction environments is essential.
* Strong skills in carpentry, including frame carpentry and trim carpentry techniques.
* Familiarity with construction painting practices is preferred.
* Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the workday.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in all aspects of work.
* Previous maintenance person experience is advantageous for this role.
* Knowledge of fabrication processes is a plus, along with experience in assembly tasks.
