We are the Finance Team of a dynamic company working on behalf of Sunderland City Council to deliver children’s services including social care, early help, and education. Our goal is Put the Child First.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a career within the Finance Service of the Company, offering the right candidate support to qualify as an Accounting Technician (AAT) while gaining valuable experience in a busy Finance Team and learning all aspects of this child-centred organization.
The postholder will support finance operations, assist budget holders with budget preparation and management, and help with the completion of final accounts, government returns, and grant claims.
Candidates should demonstrate a willingness to learn on the job and through examinations, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be a team player. Experience working in a busy team is advantageous. Candidates may be part-AAT qualified or just starting this journey.
