This is an opportunity to join a growing consultancy delivering secure, cutting-edge IT solutions. You'll work closely with senior engineers and company directors, get hands-on with complex infrastructure, and help shape secure environments that really matter.
What you'll be doing
Maintain and improve multi-classification, virtualised, cloud and collaboration environments.
Support Office 365 and Azure SaaS platforms, plus hybrid and private cloud systems.
Enhance 'secure by design' infrastructure practices across multiple projects.
Perform maintenance, patching and change control activities.
Monitor and triage alerts, security events and tickets.
Support upgrades and optimisation across VMware, Linux and Windows systems.
Advise project teams on infrastructure best practice and produce technical documentation.
Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers.
What you'll bring
Windows Server (2016+) administration.
VMware (vSphere, vCenter, VCF) experience.
Linux (CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu) administration.
Azure/Microsoft 365 support and management.
PowerShell scripting.
EUD provisioning (Autopilot), patching and hardening.
Understanding of SSO and protectively marked environments.
(Nice to have: Kubernetes, DevSecOps tooling, Elastic, Nessus, Terraform, HashiCorp Vault, application packaging, Agile sprint delivery.)
