Base pay range: £52,000 DOE + Competitive Company Benefits. Cambridge. Full-Time/ Permanent - 40 Hours.
Overview
Compass Associates, in partnership with Welbeck Health Partners, is opening a brand-new hospital with 12 specialties and the latest technology. The role offers the opportunity to build and shape the outpatient service, including phlebotomy, and to contribute to the development of department policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
* Provide clinical and managerial leadership to outpatient nursing services.
* Ensure safe, effective, and compassionate patient care across multiple specialties.
* Lead, develop, and performance-manage a multidisciplinary team.
* Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, training, and appraisals.
* Manage departmental budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
* Maintain compliance with CQC standards, governance, and safety frameworks.
* Drive service improvements through audits, quality assurance, and innovation.
* Act as key liaison with clinicians, patients, families, and stakeholders.
* Support strategic planning, business development, and service expansion.
What can you bring?
* Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration
* Right to Work in the UK
* Proven leadership experience in a senior nursing or clinical management role
* Experience working in an outpatient setting
* Experience implementing new services or patient pathways in outpatient settings is advantageous
* Strong understanding of clinical governance and patient safety
* Experience of CQC inspections and readiness
* Strong leadership, influencing, coaching, and development skills
* Excellent organizational skills
* Commercial awareness and business development experience is advantageous
