The project:
Work is moving rapidly into the mechanical, electrical and HVAC (MEH) install phase. The client team including Mace representatives will be required to provide leadership, direction and guidance to the contract delivery partners as part of an integrated team delivering large, standalone, multi-million-pound scopes of work while ensuring full effective coordination at the project level.

Responsibilities include managing the construction delivery of MEP services, ensuring compliance with standards, quality, safety, and project timelines. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and leading the team effectively.
You’ll be responsible for:
* Managing the construction of MEP services, reporting to the project lead, ensuring compliance with Mace standards.
* Overseeing site environment, programme, health safety & wellbeing, quality & commissioning.
* Coordinating with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, trade contractors, and team leaders.
* Reviewing programmes, identifying issues, and using digital technologies to keep the project on schedule.
* Ensuring quality assurance and high standards of installation.
* Implementing delivery strategies, milestones, interfaces, and logistics.
* Managing project close-out activities, including commissioning and documentation.
* Proactively identifying risks and developing mitigation plans.
* Contributing to net zero carbon initiatives during project delivery.
You’ll need to have:
* Proficiency in a technical trade such as building services engineering, including installation and testing.
* Basic knowledge of other technical trades and construction elements.
* Understanding of commercial management, planning processes, health and safety, quality assurance, and digital technologies.
* Experience delivering projects over £5m in MEP value.
* Relevant construction sector experience and a proven track record.
* Technical proficiency in building services or engineering discipline.
* Strong communication, collaboration, decision-making, and resource management skills.
* Trade/technical engineering apprenticeship, SMSTS, and CSCS card.
You’ll also have:
* Knowledge of commissioning processes, BMS, and IST.
* Accreditation with professional bodies such as CIBSE, IET, IMechE, SoPHE, CIOB.
* Strong presentation and analytical skills.
* Formal engineering or construction training (HNC, HND, BTEC or equivalent).
