Website Administrator Trainee Placement Programme
Note: This is a training programme with career placement and fees apply. The programme is designed for individuals with none or limited experience who have a real desire to start a career in website administration.
We provide industry-recognised certifications, guidance to market yourself with a structured CV and LinkedIn profile, and a credible portfolio to demonstrate skills to potential employers. The programme aims to help you secure an entry-level role in programming, web development, or related fields.
The programme runs in stages and can be completed in a timeframe that suits you, from a few weeks to several months, depending on your study pace. Study timings are approximate and assume a minimum of 5 hours per week. Training times may be reduced if more time is available.
Stage 1 – Learn HTML and CSS (up to 12 weeks)
The first step is completing a selection of professional and industry-recognised courses chosen to maximise learning and employment outcomes. Training is delivered through multimedia video tutorials, presentations and quizzes via an online portal. You will be assigned an expert tutor and a support mentor for 1-2-1 or group sessions.
* HTML Essentials (up to 6 weeks)

After completing HTML & CSS, you will progress to the next stage.
Stage 2 – Additional Online Training (up to 12 weeks)
A selection of more advanced courses to prepare you for entry-level programming roles. The following modules are included:
* Learn the Command Line (1.5 weeks)
* Learn Git & GitHub (1.5 weeks)
* Learn JavaScript (1.5 weeks)
* Learn Python 3 (1.5 weeks)
JavaScript is foundational for modern web development. Python is versatile and widely used across industries.
Step 3 – Portfolio Website Project (1 week)
Your tutor will guide you through exercises to build a personalised portfolio to demonstrate your skills. Completion of further study courses is voluntary but recommended.

Stage 4 – Entry Level Web Administrator Placement
