Compliance Officer
to oversee our accreditation and compliance processes, ensuring we continue to operate at the highest industry standards.
This is a key role for a detail-driven professional who thrives in a process-led environment and understands the importance of industry accreditations, SHEQ compliance, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing
* Manage and maintain industry accreditations, including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and LRQA NERS/GIRS/WIRS
* Oversee employee and subcontractor competency matrices to ensure compliance with regulations and best practice
* Coordinate supplier and subcontractor approval through PQQs
* Assist with client PQQ applications to support business growth
* Arrange and manage mandatory and technical training across the business
* Lead contractor safety management processes and ensure systems are implemented effectively
* Coordinate the Authorisation process in line with LRQA expectations
* Promote environmental awareness and safe working practices across all operations
What You'll Bring
Essential:
* Knowledge of LRQA processes, ISO standards, CDM 2015, and relevant health & safety legislation
* Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
* Competence in Microsoft Office and Google applications
* Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple compliance activities
* Experience in utilities and/or construction sectors
Desirable:
* IOSH or NEBOSH qualification and membership
* Environmental and/or Quality qualification
* Experience implementing health and safety in a complex technical environment
* Understanding of LRQA requirements across NERS, GIRS, and WIRS
* Knowledge of Competence Authorisation Processes
