Are you ready to lead with heart, purpose, and impact? At The North East Surrey Short Stay School (NESSSS), we’re on the lookout for a passionate, resilient, and driven Inclusion Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in transforming the lives of vulnerable young people across North Surrey — and to do it in a school that feels different from the rest.
NESSSS supports pupils who’ve faced exclusion, disruption, or disadvantage — and we do it with integrity, respect, and perseverance at the core of everything. Our smaller class sizes (rarely more than six), shorter teaching week (80% load), and strong focus on wellbeing mean staff have the space to build real, restorative relationships with pupils and still go home with energy left in the tank. Work stays at work here — and we’re proud of that.
In this role, you’ll lead safeguarding with confidence, boost attendance through smart, targeted support, and oversee outreach programmes that help children stay in mainstream settings or transition smoothly into new opportunities. You’ll also lead a dedicated team, collaborate with external agencies, and be the go-to professional when it comes to breaking down barriers to learning.
We’re a school where pupils find purpose, staff find belonging, and families find hope. As one parent put it:
“I’m so proud of the boy my son is becoming, and I owe this all to the school and the amazing staff in it.”
If you thrive in a high-trust, high-challenge environment, love being on the front line of inclusion, and want your work to truly matter — NESSSS is ready for you.
