Pharmacist Prescriber Practitioner
Opportunity available for a Prescribing Pharmacist to work within an Urgent Care Centre across the West Midlands.
The team is based within an Urgent Care Centre. The role involves delivering evidence-based nursing services as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing care within your scope of practice to the entitled patient population. You will work autonomously, managing clinical areas such as health promotion, chronic disease management, health prevention, and well-man clinics. You will also support the management team in reviewing clinical policies and procedures.
You will have access to clinical supervision and a designated individual for day-to-day support. The role includes developing, implementing, and evaluating health promotion and wellbeing programs, as well as creating and reviewing treatment plans for acute and non-acute conditions, and supporting chronic disease management.
Providing routine nursing care in accordance with clinical evidence, NICE, and NSF guidelines is essential. You will be authorized to prescribe medications within your scope of practice, review medication effectiveness, and adjust treatment as needed.
Hours and Pay:
The role offers both part-time and full-time hours.
Monday to Friday: £43/hour
Saturday/Sunday: £45/hour
Nights: £47/hour
