We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Administrator to join a friendly and committed team based in Barnsley town centre. The ideal candidate will support the sales department by handling a variety of administrative tasks in a professional and efficient manner.

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday, 9am – 4pm

Pay rate:
£14.00 per hour

Main duties:

* Dealing with incoming orders and enquiries via telephone and email
* Maintaining relationships with clients and customers
* Generating invoices and issuing credit notes
* Processing orders received by telephone, email, post or fax in a timely and effective manner
* Data entry and daily use of Excel, spreadsheets and bespoke internal systems to monitor stock levels
* Liaising with goods in, goods out, and all other office departments
* Preparing sample orders for despatch (picking and packing)
* Maintaining efficient price control and accurate order pricing
* Maintaining accurate customer records using CRM systems (training provided)
* Various other duties as and when required

Required skills:

* High school diploma or equivalent; qualifications in administration or business preferred
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Basic knowledge of inventory management or order processing software is a plus
