Architect
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £36-40,000
A well-established, design-focused architectural practice is looking to appoint a skilled Architect to join its Cardiff studio. With a history spanning more than 50 years, the practice is recognised for delivering high-quality, sustainable design solutions across the UK and internationally. Known for creating commercially aware, user-focused environments, the team works across architecture, urban design, and masterplanning, with particular strength in mixed-use, retail, leisure, residential, and workplace projects.
Role & Responsibilities
Lead and support projects throughout all RIBA stages Develop creative design proposals alongside detailed technical solutions Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and clients Produce and manage drawing packages and project specifications* Attend client meetings, site visits, and assist with on-site project delivery
Requirements
Qualified Architect (ARB, RIBA, or equivalent) Proven experience delivering UK-based projects across multiple stages Strong design capability with solid technical and presentation skills Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction processes Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
