Facilities Accommodation Team Leader

The role of Facilities Accommodation Team Leader plays a key part of accommodation services. The successful candidate will work with the accommodation team and be responsible for the supervision of the accommodation service assistants.
The Facilities Accommodation Leader may be required to support in cleaning tasks at times of low staffing or increased demand. They are also responsible for receiving and delivering cleaning materials to the accommodation facilities and therefore candidates for this post are required to be physically fit.
Core Working Hours
Full time, 37.5 hours, working 08:00-16:00, Monday-Friday, may include bank holidays.
Within your contracted hours of work, you may be required to support in covering for other Facilities Team Leaders from time to time, dependant on service requirements.
Enhancements for night time, bank holiday and weekend work are offered as a part of this role.

The Right Candidate
To be considered for this role, it would be advantageous if you have worked in a busy NHS setting or have experience in a cleaning or hospitality role. Our preferred candidate would have some previous experience in team leading or supervising staff. A full job description and person specification is attached.
To be successful, candidates need to be able to demonstrate that they; have experience of working with computer systems; to include Microsoft Office, different IT packages and web-based systems. Have experience of working with a diverse range of staff. Understand sickness absence management. Have a good understanding of Customer Care. Have effective communication skills. Are able to undertake duties without supervision.

Qualifications & Training
* Numerate and Literate equivalent to GCSE level.
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience of working with computer systems to include Microsoft Office and the use of IT packages and web-based systems.
* Experience of first line management.
* Experience of National and NHS legislation and guidance relating to cleaning standards and/or Food Hygiene Regulations.
Personal Attributes & Skills
* Evidence of the ability to plan and prioritise work to meet own and department deadlines.
