Search are currently supporting a business based on the outskirts of York who are looking for a Accounts Assistant to join their growing team. This role will be working within a small finance team with a friendly feel!
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting with the Purchase Ledger for the business
Producing weekly payment runs
Ensuring ledgers are up to date and reviewing debtor reporting
Matching of delivery notes and PO numbers to invoices
Setting up new supplier accounts
Reconciliation of accounts
Bank reconciliations
Preparation of journals and assisting with month end Successful Candidate will possess:
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Attention to detail
Microsoft proficient
Intermediate with Excel
Ability to work to timed deadlines Whats on offer:
Salary up to £29000
40 hours per week with flexibility offered
