I am looking for an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter who is interested in progressing to the role of Warranty and Technical Engineer:South Wales & National Role. I am looking fora qualified, technically experienced, commercially astute Warranty & Technical Engineer to join a heavy plantmaintenance department. This role is a hands-on engineering position focusing on diagnostics, warranty recovery, OEM relationships and continuous improvement across a modern Tier V earthworks fleet (Volvo, Komatsu, Caterpillar, Bell etc.). Youll work closely with the existing team to deliver sustained & positive maintenance outcomes to maximise fleet uptime and minimise cost of ownership by delivering robust technical diagnostics, warranty recovery, OEM liaison and maintenance process improvement. You will act as the technical point of contact for the companys fleet across major OEMs, driving warranty claims, complete forensic investigations of failures, and data-led fleet improvements. This position will report into the Head of Field Service and work closely with the Warranty & Technical manager. The job will primarily be based at the companys head offices in Caldicot with national travel to the companys sites expected when required. Key Responsibilities
