Job Title: Contract and Procurement Lawyer

Role length: Anticipated 3 months
The role: We are currently seeking a skilled Contract and Procurement Lawyer to join the team on a rolling three-month contract, with strong potential for extension beyond the end of the year.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert legal advice on contract and procurement matters
* Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts
* Prepare and deliver presentations
* Demonstrate strong litigation and trial expertise, effectively advocating on behalf of clients with confidence and professionalism in court proceedings
* Offer general legal guidance relating to contract law, as instructed
* Support internal stakeholders with procurement and legal compliance issues
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor, Lawyer or Barrister
* Demonstrable experience in contract and procurement law
* Strong drafting and negotiation skills
* Proven ability to manage a complex caseload effectively and efficiently
* Strong litigation and trial experience, with the ability to advocate confidently in court
* A strong, effective communicator with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and persuasively
* Demonstrated experience in document production and preparing high-quality presentations for internal and external stakeholders
* Proficient in MS Office and legal technology tools
* An accurate, detail-oriented approach to legal work and case management
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically in challenging situations
