Mountjoy School is seeking to appoint a Childcare Assistant. We are looking for someone who has experience of supporting the personal care needs of young people who present with additional needs.

Working times are as follows: Monday 8:55am to 4:45pm, Tuesday to Thursday 8:55am to 3:45pm, Friday 8:55am to 3:35pm. Due to the needs of the school, we are currently not able to offer different working hours from those advertised. However, we would welcome applications from staff who are interested in part-time work, subject to a minimum of 2 days per week for the above hours.
Childcare Assistants work for 39 weeks of the year, which includes 5 Inset days. Actual Salary £17,950 - £18,231 per annum (Grade 3, SCP 3-4). This job is Term Time Only for 31 hours per week and 39 weeks per year.
