What You’ll Do as Global People & Culture Policy Specialist
* Global Policy Expertise – Proven experience developing and managing HR policies across multiple regions, with a strong grasp of international Colleague Relations and Industrial Relations laws.
* Strategic & Cultural Awareness – Ability to balance global consistency with local adaptation, ensuring policies meet legal requirements and reflect cultural nuances.
* Stakeholder Collaboration – Skilled in partnering with COEs, country P&C leaders, legal, compliance and L&D teams for effective policy development, communication and implementation.
* Governance & Compliance Focus – Experience creating and operationalising policy governance frameworks, maintaining version control and ensuring alignment with legal standards including GDPR and EHS.
* Values‑Driven Approach – Commitment to embedding Primark’s Values, Behaviours and Diversity & Inclusion agenda into all policy work.
* Analytical & Advisory Skills – Strong capability in benchmarking, data analysis and providing expert advice on policy issues, with a focus on continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
What You’ll Bring
* HR Policy Expertise – 5–7 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years as an HR Policy Manager, with a strong foundation in policy development and implementation.
* Global Perspective – Experience adapting and rolling out HR policies across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with local legislation and cultural nuances.
* Compliance & Risk Management – Proven ability to manage Employee Relations compliance and mitigate risk through effective policy design and execution.
* Collaborative Approach – Skilled in working with cross‑functional teams and HR colleagues both locally and globally to drive policy consistency and effectiveness.
* Communication & Influence – Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders across diverse geographies.
* Delivery Focus – Track record of successfully implementing HR policies and driving adoption across complex organisational structures.
