Role: New Business Manager – South Central England (Beds, Bucks, Herts, Cambs)
Location: Remote (must live within region and be able to travel to clients regularly)
Following a period of exciting growth and development at Royal Mail Group we are recruiting a New Business Manager to join our dynamic sales team to help drives sales and grow our market share.
As a New Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing profitable new business opportunities, leading the full sales cycle from pitch to contract signing. You’ll build relationships and develop and maintain a robust pipeline to contribute to Royal Mail’s revenue and market expansion with region (covering Milton Keynes, Bedford, Luton and Cambridge and surrounding areas).
Responsibilities
* Achieve new business revenue, contribution, and volume targets in line with commercial objectives
* Drive a strong balance between UK domestic and international traffic, optimising revenue and performance
* Develop an active pipeline, using sales campaigns and leads to drive individual and regional sales targets
* Promote Royal Mail’s services to prospects and existing customers, maximising business growth opportunities
* Leverage new products, campaigns, and solutions to enhance new business sales performance and customer satisfaction.
* Provide accurate sales reporting, maintaining data quality within CRM systems
Skills & Experience
* You will have experience in sales within the eCommerce, Parcels or Courier sectors (or similar)
* Strong negotiation and business-closing skills, with a focus on revenue generation
* An understanding of UK and international eCommerce markets
* Experience in delivering new business development campaign objectives
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing at all levels
* Analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and CRM systems
* Self-discipline and the ability to work independently
