About the role
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will teach General Science, with the ability to deliver Biology, Chemistry or Physics lessons at KS4 being advantageous.
You will join a supportive department committed to raising attainment, encouraging curiosity, and fostering a positive learning environment where students can thrive academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
2. Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students
3. Assess, monitor and report on student progress
4. Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement
5. Contribute to the wider life of the Science department and school community

Requirements
14. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
15. Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting
16. Ability to teach Science across KS3 and KS4
17. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
18. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
19. Passion for teaching and supporting young people
