Scope of the position:
To organise and assist in the day to day running of catering operations, in all dining areas.
Responsible to:
Front of House Manager, Restaurant Manager, House Manager, Executive Head Chef, Directors
Hours of work:
The shift pattern will be linked to the demands of the business. This role will include both opens and closes.
42.5 hours per week
5 days per week out of a 7-day week to include weekend working
Hours of work will fluctuate with the needs of the business, TOIL and overtime in place.
No holiday to be booked in the month of December
Salary/pay:
As per contract - plus share of Tronc and directors' discretionary bonus scheme
Job summary:
As Front of House Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery across our restaurant, events, and wedding functions. You will lead and support FOH staff, assist management and supervise daily operations, maintain high standards of guest experience, and ensure smooth coordination with kitchen, events and management teams. You will play a key role in training, quality assurance and service excellence for a team within a business of over 100 staff.
Key skills and experience:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hospitality.
Experience in high-volume environments, restaurant specifically but ideally including weddings or events.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
Proficient with POS systems and basic administrative tools (OpenTable, EPOS now, PDQ machines)
Strong customer service ethos and attention to detail.
Desirable Qualifications:
Hospitality supervision or relevant vocational training.
First Aid trained
Food Safety L2 certification.
Event coordination or wedding planning exposure.
Personal Licence Holder
