As a support worker with us, you'll be helping people gain more independence in their daily lives, working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

This role offers variety, with no two days being the same!
Additional duties may include:
1. Personalised Care: Follow and support each resident’s personalized care plan, providing hands-on help and thoughtful attention to their individual needs.
2. Health and Wellbeing: Monitor residents’ health, communicate concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, and assist with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
3. Champion Dignity: Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued and cared for.
4. Social Support: Encourage social interactions among residents and staff, creating a warm environment.
5. Safety and Comfort: Work with housekeepers to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, and respond promptly to emergencies or call bells.
6. Nutritional Support: Assist residents with eating and drinking, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
This role is ideal for someone looking to make a real difference, helping individuals grow in confidence and independence to meet their goals, whether that’s making dinner alone or going on holiday.
To be considered, you should have:
* Proven experience in a similar care environment
* A checkable work history
* Up-to-date mandatory training in Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control (training can be provided online for a fee if needed)
* An in-date enhanced DBS check (we can assist in arranging a new one if expired)

Your shifts will typically be from 07:00 to 14:00 or from 14:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday.
The hourly rate is £12.55, with 28 days of accrued holiday pay.
